About Believers Eastern Church

Believers Eastern Church adheres to the episcopal governance and structure embodied in Scripture and followed by the Church Fathers. We believe in the universal priesthood of all believers, yet we also believe that God is a God of order who establishes lines of authority to strengthen the church in serving Him and humanity.

Community

Believers Eastern Church is part of an international community of believers. We have 50+ dioceses spread over many countries. We also have a religious order established in several of those countries and seek to be part of discipling the next generation of believers.

GFA World

GFA World  the mission arm of Believers Eastern Church has since its beginning in 1979 been committed to serving the “least of these” in Asia, often in places where no one else is serving, so they can experience the love of God for the first time. GFA World  supports national workers serving as the hands and feet of Christ in four main ways.

  1. Sponsoring national workers to minister to people’s needs
  2. Sponsoring children
  3. Investing in community development and
  4. Helping families in need of care or during disasters.

Intensive Discipleship Program

GFA World has a Discipleship Program located at their office in Stoney Creek.  Through a one year regimen GFA World Discipleship Program disciples will be taught to live an orderly and Christ-centred life, through spiritually formational practices.

Throughout this year they will learn how to experience an incarnational spirituality. They will be given tools to assist them as they walk as a disciple of Christ including challenging book studies, spiritual disciplines, and a structured schedule in GFA World’s community life.
